Opinion

People have very different opinions when it comes to graffiti. Some see it only as illegal work that increases urban blight, such as in Sydney where the government spends more than 3 million dollars a year washing it off.  Others see it as an art; in Melbourne our graffiti saturated alleys and lane ways are being considered for heritage protection. What are your thoughts?

Das Panther

Rainer Marie Rilke - 1907

His vision, from the constantly passing bars,
has grown so weary that it cannot hold anything else.
It seems to him there are a thousand bars;
and behind the bars, no world.
As he paces in cramped circles, over and over,
the movement of his powerful soft strides
is like a ritual dance around a centre
in which a mighty will stands paralysed.
Only at times, the curtain of the pupils lifts, quietly -
an image enters in,
rushes down through the tensed, arrested muscles,
plunges into the heart and is gone.

Cellar Door

..the robots start to move

Wise

You can see many things in the eye; the soul, the truth, a lifetime of thought and wisdom. I close my eyes and the world appears before me; imagination is more important than knowledge and it all starts in there somewhere.
